Abstract
The naica® system is a revolutionary platform for genetic analysis that utilizes digital PCR technology to enable highly multiplexed analysis of DNA samples. This system simultaneously detects and quantifies multiple genetic targets in a single reaction, greatly increasing the efficiency and throughput of genetic analysis. In this presentation, we will discuss the technical features of the naica® system and provide examples of its successful application in various research and clinical settings, including how 6-color Crystal Digital PCR™ meets the increasing need to analyze simultaneously a high number of targets without compromising on sensitivity. We will also discuss potential future technical developments and applications, including the development of methods for automated partition classification as color detection capacity increases. We will present the challenges associated with 6-color automated partition classification and discuss cues toward solutions for more robust classification. We will conclude by showing how the naica® system represents a significant advancement in the field of genetic analysis, providing a powerful tool for researchers and clinicians seeking to quickly and accurately analyze complex genetic samples and drive advancements in personalized medicine and other fields.
